56% of students graduating from the Athletic Training Program at Marist College have completed or are currently enrolled in graduate degree programs. The majority have continued their studies in post professional athletic training programs including the University of Connecticut, University of Florida, University of Virginia and George Washington University. Others have continued in areas such as Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant.

AT – Athletic Training, DAT = Doctorate in Athletic Training, PA = Physician Assistant, DPT = Doctorate in Physical Therapy, OT = Occupational Therapy, DC = Doctor of Chiropractic

Degrees listed under “other” include Speech Pathology, Sport Management and an MBA. 

 

 

 

The majority of students graduating from the Athletic Training Program at Marist College who did not attend graduate school immediately following graduation were employed as athletic trainers in the high school setting. Other employment settings include colleges and universities, professional sports, clinics and health clubs.
